HOW TO GET TO MANZANILLO
La Amanecida, situated in Manzanillo’s exquisite five-star gated community of LaPunta, is located along Mexico’s gold coast in the state of Colima. The Playa de Oro International Airport is a 30-minute drive south to La Amanecida.
It is easy to reach Manzanillo with direct flights from Canada and the United States.
From Canada:
- Air Transat flies direct to Manzanillo during the winter months from Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Toronto and Montreal

From the USA to Manzanillo:
- From Los Angeles you can fly via Aero California and Alaska Airlines (out of LAX)
- America West Airlines flies non-stop from Phoenix between December and April
- Continental Airlines flies from Houston, TX, directly to Manzanillo
- From Seattle, WA, you can fly via Alaska Airlines, through to Los Angeles, then on to Manzanillo
- From Los Angeles, CA, you can fly direct via Alaska Airlines
- US Airways (America West Airlines) flies non-stop from Phoenix, AZ, on Saturday’s during December and January
